Surviving Long Distance Relationships

Every accomplishment started out as a goal or a dream – Jenny Le

Today I wanted to talk about a different aspect of medical school that tends not to be emphasized, but which is vital to our success. That is our support system. Medical school is difficult. Some may describe it as trying to drink from a fire hose. When times get tough and you feel like you can’t pull through, your friends, your family, and your loved ones give you that extra push you needed to struggle another day. And if that doesn’t help … donuts never let anyone down.

I am fortunate enough to have a fiance that is willing to put up with all my crazy, and a group of friends like EDC to rejoice in my success, lift me from my dark moments, and discover new food adventures together. All these people are rather a miles away, but never do I feel that they are far from my heart (insert emoji of choice). I may not say it often, but meeting all of you is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

This video is … different. It’s a chit chat, get ready with me video of how I survive my long distance relationship with Stan. You guys did say you wanted make up, so here it is! Enjoy!
